Job opening: Swimming School Coordinator / Club Manager

Swimwise Club makes swimming lessons and water exercise accessible throughout Flanders, with portable Swimwise pools, natural filtration, and a people-oriented approach.

Your role

As Swimming School Coordinator and club manager, you are the linchpin of Swimwise Club.

You’ll keep an eye on the big picture, manage teams and continue to develop a scalable swimming model.

You won’t be on your own: you’ll receive active support from a management team and a head of teaching for the swimming courses.

Your responsibilities

Development of an innovative swimming concept

Launch and coordination of new branches in moveable swimming pools
Helping to devise scalable processes and forward-looking structures

Programming & planning

Drawing up and optimising lesson and annual timetables
Staff and capacity planning by location

People management

Recruiting, managing and coaching tutors, supervisors and local coordinators
Motivating teams and building a warm, professional club culture

Operational follow-up

Ensuring quality, safety and consistency across different sites
Alignment between infrastructure, planning and teams

Communication & visibility

Help shape and contribute to the image of Swimwise Club
An affinity for social media and external communications is a clear asset

Reporting & collaboration

Regular reporting to the Swimwise Board of Directors
Close collaboration with the management team and support functions

Your skills

You are enterprising, organised and people-oriented
You enjoy organising, setting priorities and keeping track of things
You have strong interpersonal skills and communicate easily with teachers, parents and partners
You don’t need to teach swimming yourself or be a swimming instructor, but an interest in sport and physical activity is a major plus
An interest in social media, communication and community building is a major asset
Experience in sport, education, youth work, club activities or project work is an asset
